HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid

This unit will provide the participant with the skills and knowledge to provide first aid
Certificate: A Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment HLTAID003 Provide basic first aid will be issued to all successful participants. The HLTAID003 is valid for 3 years and the CPR component should be updated annually.
Fee: $99
Duration: 2 days of face-to-face training, 6-11 hours of self-paced study and theory assessment to be completed prior to the face-to-face training.
Time: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Delivery: Face to face within a classroom environment.
Pre-Requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this unit of competency. Participants will need the ability to meet the physical demands of providing first aid. Entry requirements:
This course is available to students who are able to provide evidence that they are able to demonstrate a suitable level of language, literacy and numeracy to a level which Simple Training Academy are able to support them to complete the course requirements.
Assessments
Assessments are progressive throughout the course, including written and oral questions and a demonstration of practical skills. Please note that the provision of CPR must be demonstrated on the floor.
